The story of my relative who bought a house without a foundation
It's late autumn, work in the garden and garden is over, construction is also frozen. Soon we will start decorating the last two rooms in our new home - the living room and the hallway. In the meantime, I want to share with you a few instructive stories that happened to my relatives.
As I already told in the article "After leaving, a relative discovered that the houseplants were broken off - it turns out that this is magic.", my cousin's wife Lyuba unexpectedly came to visit me, and she dumped a heap of family news. Of course, I didn't believe her in everything, I had to carefully ask the heroes of her stories how everything really happened. And now, the story for your judgment is completely real.
My cousin worked for the police in a big city. She is a very active, sociable woman who grew up in a large (6 children) family. She divorced her husband a few years ago, lived with her 13-year-old daughter. And so, one day she was traveling on a train, in a compartment she met a fellow traveler. We talked, talked for two days, liked each other. The man looked usually - not rich, not poor, average. He said that he was also divorced, there were no children. She told about herself, it is quite in her style. Among other things, she mentioned that the cabinets were broken at work, the doors did not close. And so, after a couple of days she was summoned to watch, and her sister sees her fellow traveler with a suitcase. He came to her to fix the wardrobes. Of course, such an act was approved by all and the relationship began with renewed vigor.
The man dreamed of buying a house in the village and leaving the city. After the divorce, he lived with his mother, which did not suit him. Our sister also dreamed of a house, a vegetable garden and chickens.
I don't know how long they met, but they got married soon, she changed her name, transferred to work in another police department. And we bought an inexpensive house near a small town. How they bought it, where they looked, but in the spring it turned out that the brick house stands right on the ground, there is practically no foundation. And it is lined with bricks only on the outside. And inside there are chipboard panels, which have been crumbling since Soviet times. There was no point in making electric heating in it, and, in general, investing money.
Here my relative Lyuba, who was leading this story, said that she immediately told them - a house without a foundation will leave your whole life without support. Run out of it without looking back.
But the young family decided to build a new house, because the daughter was already attending a new school, her sister was working.
And now, after six months of family life, one extremely unpleasant fact came to light - the husband turned out to be a drunken alcoholic. He could not drink for several months, but then he broke down and drank for weeks without stopping.
How my sister suffered with this - it is impossible to convey! But one of the binges ended with an attack of delirium tremens. The man took the ax, went out into the street and attacked the first bystander. Fortunately, he didn't hack to death.
I think everyone understands that my sister started having troubles at the service, the daughter was sent back to the city to her father.
The drunkard was given 7 years. And what do you think? She went to his colony on a date with parcels. This is the kind of love, or what to call it... I don't know.
Seems incredible? No, this is a completely real story.
