A way that makes Phalaenopsis bloom explosively. I give him preference for the Safety / Efficiency ratio
Do you want to finally have a Phalaenopsis holiday on your windowsill? Then a fiery salute, comrade ambitious indoor florist! Today on the agenda is the most harmless way, forcing the orchid to finally pick up the buds.. To get rid of an inferiority complex after getting acquainted with the blooming cascades on the windowsills of friends and neighbors.
Why harmless and not the best?
Phalaenopsis is a cunning and insidious plant that is very afraid for its skin. It blooms in two ways:
- When he felt good for a very long time. In the summer he stands on the windowsill, basking in the sun, storing nutrients and storing up strength. And in the fall it explodes with peduncles with numerous buds. Do not pay attention to the attachment to summer: in fact, the faliks do not have a rest period.
- When he got really bad. Phalaenopsis, feeling the imminent end, tries to give seeds due to the survival instinct. And as a rule, there are no seeds without flowers.
All the methods that "make the phalaenopsis bloom" are all about the second point. Their action boils down to creating severe stress for the orchid, albeit not endangering its life (in the opinion of the grower). Cold, darkness, refusal to water for a month, all kinds of garlic substances, iodine, hydrogen and other nonsense.
Note to a friend: Watering with ammonia, iodine, hydrogen peroxide and other caustic liquids burns the roots a lot. This is not a "miracle feeding, the recipe for which I begged from a neighbor," but a source of intense stress
Even I, who is not used to lisping around with indoor and garden plants, is not ready to risk phalaenopsis in order to amuse my vanity. I only know one more or less safe way to stress the orchid and make it release a flower arrow.
I propose my plan
First, prepare the orchid for flowering: feed it 2-4 times at intervals of 10 days. So that the plant has some, no, but a supply of food. I can't help but remind that phalaenopsis need light to set buds.
Top dressing - with mineral fertilizers: either "For orchids" or "For flowering", but dilute it 2 times weaker, comrade. Phalaenopsis will be glad.
And now it's time for a hot shower - it is the water temperature of 45-60 ° C that will become that stress. Do it when it's time for the next watering. Just remember that the water must be at such a temperature that your hand will endure. For the reliability of the result, you can repeat the bath procedures every 2-3 weeks.
Note to a friend: Do not do it more often. The effect will not increase, and the clever phalaenopsis may stop considering hot water as something frightening
Do you like blooming orchids and was this article helpful? Press, comrade, "Thumbs up"!
Sincerely yours, taking care of the psyche of each phalaenopsis, Fyodor Tyapkin-Sklyankin.
