Organization of a fire on the site
Sometimes you want to light a fire on your site and sit with a cup of tea or coffee and read a book. And in order for all this to be cozy and safe, it is necessary to properly organize a fire.
Stone fire pit, process
Step 1: Prepare the stones
Determine the size, shape, and location of the fire pit. Take measurements (height, width and depth) and select the material for the project. It is desirable that the stones be the same, it will be more convenient to lay the masonry.
Step 2: Prepare the site
Insert the support (reinforcement) into the ground. Draw a circle with a diameter of 150 cm and dig a pit of 10-12 cm.

Step 3: Marking for supports
Inside the pit, draw an inner circle so that the distance to the outer one is the thickness of the pit wall. Wall thickness is up to you.
Step 4: Guides
Prepare the solution according to the manufacturer's instructions. Spread the cement in the area between the inner and outer circles. Leave the center area clear of concrete for drainage.
Continue adding cement and leveling it until it reaches 5-10 cm. Add reinforcement to the cement for greater rigidity. Let the foundation dry.

Step 5: Lay the first layer of brick and stone
Place the brick vertically. Check the masonry level. Remove excess solution.
Step 6: Finishing the Wall
Continue laying walls until the desired height is reached. Fill the gaps between brick and stone with the remains of brick or stone, covering with cement mortar.
Step 7: Place Cornice Stones
After the base of the wall is ready, you need to lay out the top with a cornice stone. To do this, apply more cement mortar to the top of the wall. Lay the cornice stones in the mortar, choosing flat stones, laying them neatly together.

Close up all the cracks and holes with cement from the inside. Once the grout is dry, use a stiff brush to scrape off any remaining grout.
Step 9: Painting the Bricks
Spray the interior walls with water to remove any dust or dirt that may have collected on the stone. When the walls are dry, spray paint the inside of the wall black (as in an oven).
Step 8: Filling in the rocks
Pour stones and pebbles inside. Place small pebbles around the fire pit as shown in the picture below.
