It is not forbidden to plant root crops in the aisles of onions. Radishes, beets, carrots are able to drive away the onion fly. That is why vegetables do not interfere, but, on the contrary, will only help.

The meaning of the Vereian method lies precisely in the fact that, when ripe and pouring, the bulbs pushed the earth away from the planted onion with bare hands so that the bulb poured more freely.
