Now the garage is in order! I made a very simple but useful DIY for storing tools
People who are passionate about their favorite business always have a lot of tools that need to be stored so that they are always at hand, located conveniently and practically. For an artist, brushes, scrapers, pencils, scissors are important, for a numismatist - tweezers, a magnifying glass, special rugs, bright lamps, etc.
But for a master like me, who is fond of plumbing and engineering, plumbing and everything-everything-everything that is necessary make, fix, repair, you need convenient storage for my favorite screwdrivers, pliers and round nose pliers, drills and everything similar.
I did not want to buy a variety of shelves and fixtures in the store. Yes, and I could not find what I needed. I decided to make such a thing for storage with my own hands.
Materials for manufacturing
I made everything from the most common, improvised materials that had been lying around in the garage for a long time and no one needed them. I needed:
a sheet of plywood;
· tape measure;
· pencil;
round rail;
· Circular Saw;
drill or screwdriver
· self-tapping screws;
plastic dowels;
fasteners (fasteners, clips, brackets - whatever you can find).
Process
The rail can be taken wooden, plastic or rubber, hollow or solid. Cut to the width of the plywood sheet. We cut a through hole along the entire length of the rail, about a centimeter wide. So screwdrivers and drills will be perfectly inserted into it.
We attach from above to our board, having previously made markings so that it stays even. If necessary, you should first drill holes and only then screw the rail to the board.
We mark the places where other parts will be attached. We drill holes for the screws and insert them. You can use dowels or even simple nails.
And on the last, third tier, I fixed the first fasteners-clips of a suitable size that came across, using the same dowels and self-tapping screws.
Results
I hung my design on the wall, fixed and conveniently arranged all the tools. Screwdrivers very successfully entered the hole in the rail.
Pliers, round nose pliers, cutters hold perfectly on self-tapping screws. And on the lowest tier, long-handled tools comfortably settled down.
Here is such a simple, but very useful homemade product I got. Only those materials were used that are a pity to throw away, and they had not been used before. Cheap and cheerful! Perhaps someone will like my idea, and you will make such a comfortable workplace for yourself.
