2. The key point is the timely harvesting. In any case it is not necessary to remove the cabbage too early. It must ripen on the vine and survive the first frost. This will make juicy cabbage and removes unnecessary bitterness. But when there is a rainy weather for a long time, but still no frost, it is best to harvest early to swing not cracked from excessive moisture.


3. The selection of the cabbage heads that are suitable for storage, must be carried out very carefully. only healthy cabbage should be selected. The upper leaves should not be removed in any case: they help to keep vegetable longer.


4. A place to store cabbage should be cool, dry and dark. It is best suitable cellar. In this case, the cabbage is stored in wooden boxes, on shelves or in limbo. Each head should be wrapped with paper or newspaper and put so that they are less in contact with each other.
