If you've ever been to Japan or watching programs about their culture, probably noticed that the house was ordinary Japanese is almost no furniture. Style minimalism is everywhere - in the room can only be a chair and desk with a computer, and in the corner lay twisted mat. Where is the Japanese store your belongings?

It's not even some secrets of furniture, although they too are. The point in a different culture, a different outlook on life. Minimalism is present not only in their interiors - it's everywhere, and even in my head. First of all - the Japanese do not buy anything unnecessary! Nothing!

If you live in the apartment one person, he has a deep and a conventional plate, one spoon and fork. That's all. By the way, the Japanese also eat with forks. In the closet with clothes only those things that a person really is. In the bathroom, there are so many bottles and sponges - shampoo, liquid soap, disposable face mask and a little cream - is quite enough modern Japanese woman at the moment. And tomorrow she would buy a new one.

Even the small apartment look huge, because in the room a lot of light and air. And yes, they do not even have such a thing as the curtains - to them it's just dust collectors. The windows are either nothing or hanging light panels made of paper or thin fabric.

Of course the Japanese have furniture. Small cabinets in the kitchen, with built-in appliances (it just came from Japan), a wardrobe or chest of drawers in the room. In the bedroom, under the bed, small boxes or baskets for things. Closets, too, came to us from this country - it is the most convenient way to hide from the eyes of all the excess and leave empty and clean.

But in all this beauty there is one but. As one of my friends joked Japanese - but why buy something in the house, if at any time an earthquake and remain without anything? Many people would probably furnish your home in a European (in fact, some of them already do), but it is still strong in the minds of the spirit of the past.

By the way, I like it a Japanese proverb - if you have not used the thing for a year, just throw it. Do you think this approach to materialism correct?
