My name is Alexei Nikolsky, I live in the Kostroma region, have a small suburban area, where I located a small farm. At the end of the summer I had a free week or so, and I decided to remake his old bath to autumn and winter can be a really good warm up.

More than 12 years I have served for this room, soared whole family almost every weekend.

And so, the action plan I was: to make a good, solid foundation, obdelat everything inside and out, replace the furnace to a more modern, to put a new tube and cover the roof. Inter alia, decided to renew and dressing room.

As you can see, the old foundation of the role I have performed the old telephone poles. I have decided to replace them with cement mortar classic, but added more and masonry (for greater reliability and protection against moisture).

The new furnace

After dismantling the old furnace immediately ordered a new in-store. In the meantime, went to me, I had to lay down a new foundation under it.

I did not forget about fire safety - a wall adjacent to the furnace protected from the intense heat. But to give the aesthetic appearance of my makeshift defense, all adorned with temperature-resistant stone.

And here came the long-awaited oven! After spending all measurements, set it to a new location. I did not the first time, so it was not so difficult. Also acquired new tube furnace.

Plumbing and lining

As with most ambitious part - finished walls - longest fussed. The lining in some places did not want to dock, some boards are simply cracked.

Outside, it is trimmed sheets of corrugated board, and the inside - the remnants of lining. It turned out cool and at the same time simple.

The roof and the final finish

Sheets of corrugated board in handy here - now the roof will not leak, and will withstand the pressure of the snow drifts in the winter.

Immediately proceeded to finish the outer part. Molded in aid. The lower part, about half a meter, trimmed with decorative bricks.
