How not to give the flowers to dry while you're on vacation: a simple and effective method
Everyone familiar with the situation when you want to go on vacation or a business trip, but at home unattended is a greenhouse houseplants. Well, if you have relatives who will keep track of your flower garden. Or you're in luck with neighbors. And if not?
This simple method is used even my grandmother, and it really works. In this case, no specific cost is not required - all you need is in every house.
What is needed
· Several towels - will suit the usual, but they absorb less moisture, so if you leave more than 7 days, it is better not to regret dressing;
· Bath or large bowl, depending how much you have plants and pots of size;
· Water.
How it works
· Everything is very simple. Place towels on the bottom of the tub or basin. If you use a bath, close the water drain;
· Fill the container with water so that it is completely impregnated textiles and gently covered him;
· Set the pots without pallets wet towels.
That's all, through the holes in the bottoms of pots the roots of the plants will absorb as much water as they need. If your vegetable pets require special lighting, leave a light on in the bathroom. And do not forget to draw the shower curtain - this will slow down the evaporation of water and at the same time will create a moist environment in a closed space.
If you use a bowl, then move it to the middle of the room, that it is not in direct sunlight from the window. A top wear big plastic bag, again, to slow evaporation.
All the colors are different, various potted plants require different care. It is clear that this method does not provide an individual approach to each of them. But in any case it is better than leaving the flower to wither. In addition, this method is suitable for large plants in large pots, and those copies, which is not recommended watering the dirt - such as violets and orchids.
And here is my Violet after the holidays. Bit yellowed lower leaves, but threw buds and prepare to bloom.
