Condensation on the ceiling in the cellar
Cellar - irreplaceable in their function room, it is difficult to imagine another place where one could store different vegetables and twist.
But unfortunately, I, like many suffered one trouble - namely, the condensation on the ceiling.
Because of him, the humidity rose at times, dampness, and also began to appear fungus and mold, which We could go on many vegetable crops from which further storage in the basement, it became a great question.
But fortunately the problem I have already figured out, and now I tell you how I did it, but first we shall understand why condensation.
Why it is formed
The first reason - the temperature difference is usually on the outside, in winter, the temperature is below zero, and in the cellar at the same time, plus stably kept. It is because of this form droplets on the ceiling.
The second reason - incorrect ventilation or its absence.
In this case, the moisture is simply circulated through the cellar and eventually settles and accumulates wherever possible.
What to do
1. Adjust the ventilation system, of course - it will not be easy, but still. Go into details, I will not, but I also made itself as in the photo above, the trouble with this was a lot, but it was worth it.
2. Moisture in the not too large quantities, can be removed by placing a few buckets of chalk garden close to the ceiling, as well as one on the floor is desirable.
You can also use - juniper branches, length of slightly more than one meter (over previous costs cook a few), simply put a branch at any place in the cellar (basement) for 2-3 weeks, then is replaced by another. The first reserve in the cold, and so alternate throughout the winter.
If you have time and energy, it is necessary to insulate the floor from the outside.
I recommend to familiarize:
grow mushrooms on their own plot.
The best fertilizer for onions - yield increases significantly.
Cultures that do not like ashes.
