It turned out that in every house there is a public laundry. It is equipped in one of the rooms on the ground or first floor or in a specially built hut in the yard.

Laundry size depends on the size of the house. We lived in an old building on 24 apartments, which were to equip a small two-room laundry room.

In the room there are three washing machines, two dryers, drying cupboard, ironing machine. In order to take advantage of location, you need to take a turn with the help of a special stand for the keys. The owner of each apartment has its own key from the stand and can take one cell. It means that you can freely erase and use any equipment in the laundry for three hours. At night all four tenants can be washed - every three hours, and from 20 pm to 8 am the electricity is switched off automatically. Want-not want, you need to get. Therefore, the Swedes often refuse from the desire to go somewhere after work, for example, if on the day scheduled for washing. Having missed the turn, you're unlikely to get a convenient time in the coming days.

At the end of the wash, you absolutely must make a minimum cleaning, clean the filter dryers to the next tenant was comfortable and convenient. However, if you do not, the neighbors are unlikely to leave without attention - you wait for a complaint to the company such as our housing department. Two three complaints - and you may be asked to send out an apartment or a fine.

Amenities is that all the equipment you can use for free, but by all means - powder, softener dryer you have to be your own. You do not need to also pay for water and electricity used during the wash cycle, and if you wash at home, then it would become a part of your utility bills.

Frankly, it did not seem very convenient - to hang dirty linen in the laundry, wash at certain times. And you could get used to this "convenience"?
