As far as possible to bend metal roofing, without damage? I correct their mistakes, minimal effort.
What to do when everything is set up, and everything seems to be cool, but one little thing spoils the whole picture? Begins to think again before something prevented ...
I sometimes marvel at myself ...:
Unwillingness to correct any shortcomings in good time, always leads to a particular hemorrhoids in the future. Always!!!
Still, the next rake, hit on the head.
And so, gradually closes with metal roofing. Somewhere easily somewhere with problems, I'm moving forward.
Here is the article, which is written about the beginning of this process:
I put the first metal sheets. Nuances and mistakes without them, has not done any stage of my building.
We had to move half of the roof again. What led to this?
After finishing the installation of a ramp, I thought about a "nuance", who had noticed during installation of the first sheet.
β The lower edge of metal, not hanging from eaves strips and lay on it at a wave.
All this was due to the fact that I set the bar cornice with a small indentation on the very boards lathing.
Besides the fact that the bottom sheet slightly raised himself up, which was visually imperceptible, other problems I did not see at the time.
But when I finally started to record all metal roofing screws, I got a caveat:
Because of this "take-off" the sheet on the lower edge metal portion loosely fitted to the crate in the area of ββthe 2nd or 3rd board. It could compress this place with the effort, but it is unknown how this unit would have behaved over time. It is likely that screws may pull out, because of the constant load.
Again alteration.
But here it was easier, than relaying all the sheets in the last time.
The main thing is that the lower the waves were not yet fully engaged. Three waves was enough for me to bend the sheet to the desired length.
Then I put the wedges that held the sheet and quietly dismantled the curtain rail.
β Well, as quietly. Although each held by only two nails (well not samorezah), I had to dig deeper to get them.
Of course, after such manipulation, some sheets a little deformed. But simply bolting screws, it makes it all noticeable.
Like this, minimal reworkI was able to correct his mistake the next, which could in the future to create a lot of problems.
