Pediments of aerated concrete. The simplest laying around the house.
When the experience all the "charms" of laying his hands on each row, it is possible to objectively assess the work.
Since each stage, I do not know what is waiting for me, he could only guess. And more often (or rather 95% of cases), Expectations were much better than what comes out in practice. And I was already used to it.
And yet another "black box" - gables.
In the last articleI wrote about their fears, about weeping in the rain roof system. And gables - the only thing that separates me from work to close the roof. So I wanted to do everything quickly.
β But at the same time, I was ready to be "pitfalls".
β Both the first and the main task was to raise the remaining blocks on top ..
I will not explain why I still do not have a normal stairs to the attic floor, and why not just hire a crane to lift every two minutes.
Those who read about my construction from the beginning know that sometimes I take too "simple" solutions.
And this time, I, too, I decided to just raise the five pallets of aerated concrete with their hands. And I did it without any stairs.
- From the floor to shower in the forest. Climb up himself.
- With forests, you throw a temporary overlap of the attic.
- And then climb itself and spread it.
And it was the most difficult in the whole work with gables.
Then, everything went like clockwork.
πΉ not need high precision.
Remembering how I tried everything to bring in the ideal with masonry walls, the work on the pediments seems quite simple.
β No need to pull any string.
β No need to perfectly fit the joints of blocks.
β And block level, special importance has not.
And all because they do not want here.
In fact, the main task - simply fill in the triangular openingThat no load except its own weight, can not be held.
β And despite the fact that masonry walls is done properly, you should try to put all the pediments very bad.
πΉ numbers grow rapidly.
It is because of a simple relationship to the whole. The main thing was to lay the first rows, and then it gets easier and easier.
πΉ think there are problems with bias.
It's the only thing I thought about. But here, everything was easy.
Every angle sawn from the block in the current row, not discarded, and was the beginning of the next row. Thus, the waste was very small.
Of course I did not do everything in one day, or even a week (this is more due to lack of time). But comparing with masonry walls themselves, gables - that's for sure "easy ride".
Although there are some nuances, too... But more about that in future articles.
