Rafters get the length of 6 meters, and longer boards, I had nowhere to take. So lengthen them I planned originally. And now the time has come.

For these purposes, I took the board 50 to 100 mm. Overhangs will be small, so this is quite enough.

The first thing needed to make all the mark and the workpiece.

And the main thing is to make a vertical cut down.

• For this I took one workpiece and attaching it to the rafters otchertil vertical by level line

• Sawed off the unnecessary part, I got a template on which made all the other fillies.

✔ I have seen many, make a vertical gash, then already in place. Of course so it will be more precise, but very uncomfortable. And who needs it, these millimeters ...

Now it was necessary to put everything in place.

• Here I first mare hitched to clamp, align, and only then finally fixed.

• Putting parts at the edges of the roof, pulled between the lace, and for that reason it calmly fielded the other fillies.

Eye everything was very good:

An important point in this case is fixture.

Of course, many are advised to do so by means of pins, but I did not bother so. Instead of a few pins I'm hooked on a lot of nails.

The main thing - it's two rules:

1. Hammer nails with a bend.
2. And do it alternately from different sides.
