First, the rafters, gables and then! Why do I build that?
On the one hand, the sequence of construction processes is clear and understandable. But there are ambiguous points.
One of them - is the construction of the gables.
- Rafters, gables then?
- Or gables and then the rafters?
- Or no difference?
These questions plagued me from the very beginning of my building. And I decided:
First, make a truss system, and then lay out the gables of aerated concrete, and here's why:
Visible πΉ final contour.
Of course, you can put a vertical rail and tighten the skin, creating a benchmark for laying ...
But I think that this option is possible only for experienced builders at work on the project.
And when you're doing for the first timeAnd your project in your head, do not know how to stand in reality the rafters of the roof and other elements.
β Therefore, putting first truss system, I'll be under it to adjust masonry gables, which in my opinion is easier.
πΉ No danger of falling gables.
Maybe it's some nonsense, and did not happen, but I still come across the information that it is possible.
Freestanding and no fixed wall, which is the gable, has a large and relatively low windage resistance. Therefore, when strong gusts of wind, this design can be mislaid.
Many gables raising further their releasable temporary support from the boards, thus avoiding problems.
β In my caseI can associate with gables stropilkoy already assembled, but rather with the extreme vertical racks.
Of course, any possible difficulties and, with this order. But again, this is what I know only in the process, and the process has already begun ...
