As I did the clock on jigsaw machine
Several years ago, I needed a special gift, and I decided to watch.
The mechanism itself bought plastic, which by penlight batteries works and watch case made of wood.
Dial watch found on the Internet. For him glued dosochki ash about 5 mm thick.
And for the body took fir board.
With bandsaw circle sawed (It's faster than a scroll-saw machine)
A dial on patiently sawed jigsaw machine.
After cutting out the dial a little abraded and removed the small chamfer on all its parts.
On the basis of the fir on the one hand, I also took a chamfer radius cutter.
Next, it was necessary to determine what depth do sampling by the clock mechanism. In my case, when the thickness of the base 21 mm, the sample had to be done 18 - 19 mm.
First, several drilled holes and worked chisel.
Then he lined grooving cutters.
As a result, the clock mechanism is located quite freely.
Dial I dyed brown gouache and pasted on the base.
Carport to clock can be hung on the wall, made of washers.
The base clock drilled hole diameter and thickness of the washer, where it and pasted, and within has a smaller diameter hole and a depth of about 5 mm, so that the cap of the screw or nail nothing prevented.
Hours covered with varnish. And pasted into the body clock mechanism on double-sided tape.
These are the hours have turned out.
You can also watch a video about the making of these hours.
