How to make complex profile cutters simple

When I learn a new way for me to do something, I try to check their personal experience. Here, an example of such a test.

Task is to make complex profile simple cutters of several racks. For this, I chose the three mills.

Before you make out of wood, I made the layout of the paper. This layout glued paper strips in width as a rail, from which decided to make a profile.

Edge strips cut approximately along the profile cutter.

This layout is convenient by the fact that you can immediately evaluate the size of the profile and the width of the rails for its production.

The lower profile of the rake left on the layout is quite narrow, so I decided to do two of the lower part of one piece.

Further milling of each part.

Next, the first workpiece sawed into two parts in size of the layout.

conclusions

Although prepared in Example profile may not be entirely good - on a cornice Cabinet will not put - too small patterns. But the working principle.

You need only your imagination and you can get a wide variety of profiles of wood.
