My building. Partitions, moving and heating.

I continue the story of its construction. Early publications on this topic can be found on the channel. In short, its construction I started in May 2012 and by the end of September this year, everything was ready to move to a new home.

I basically built one. Assistants attracted only to fill the foundation, disassembly of the old outbuildings and roof coverings. In the five months I have built around the old outbuildings frame walls, demolished clay extensions, insulated and sheathed walls, floor and ceiling, electrical wiring and water spent.

The plan was this:

The green part is half owned by me, a log house. red rectangles - old clay extension and orange - a new extension skeleton.

The reality turned out well, except for the location of interior partitions: unfolded bathroom to allow more place to get kitchen and hallway.

In early October, the main works have been completed and could instill in new housing. The walls at the time were just lined with polished rail and no painted.

Paul, I painted in a dark color and covered with varnish. Further decoration and arrangement assumed later.

At the time of debugging partitions have a short video which shows also the moment has solved water heater installation task on a thin partition wall.

We drove course without finishing, but the option of walls trimmed rack - it was overall good. Relatives and friends even admired such walls.

It is also worth to tell about heating. The first winter living with brick oven, which I also did himself. Comparing coal consumption for heating new homes have found that it has not changed, despite the fact that the heated area has increased by 30 m * 2. Earlier this oven is heated by 40 m 2 * (Main house + clay building)And now 70 m * 2. Coal heating costs as much.

The following year, remade heating - solid fuel boiler and put in each room installed aluminum radiators.

Differences as compared with the furnace of course appreciable. With radiators to heat the house became fast - in about 40 minutes. When working the brick oven, it had to be about 1.5 hours for heating. Since the radiator is a more uniform heating.

The only problem encountered with heating boiler with aluminum radiators - a small amount of water in the system. Because of this, one load of coal into the boiler need only half a bucket. The water in the system heated to 80 degrees.

This small amount of water quickly gives off heat, so when the frosts of -30 degrees has to stoke coal every 4 hours on the floor of the bucket.

On the other side of the house is always about the same temperature.
