As it turned out, a nail with a flattened tip pulled out a sliver of the second rail, damaging it a little bit. I think this is normal, as it is in another part of the tree: not pushing the fibers and crushes them and tear, and therefore turned cleavage.

So, a clear conclusion drawn from the results of this test is hardly possible. As some try to do the same using the high-density wood, I think the result will be different. By the way, in an experiment that video, the result was interesting.
