I would not advise anyone to use silicone sealant as a base material for fixing the tiles. It is not practical, it is risky. If you suddenly broke or disappeared one tile, and in the house there is a special adhesive, the sealant is fine in such a situation. They can repair a small area.
More reliable alternative to silicone sealants for tile
If the surface is not suitable for conventional cement glue, experts recommend to put the tiles on the "liquid nails". This material just yet and is focused on such work. Its composition has resistance to the mobility base, but at the same time, it possesses sufficient adhesion to the tile, unlike silicone sealant.
Another option - a special polyurethane adhesive that is similar in its properties to the "liquid nails".
