What is glamping and why does no one build like that in Russia?
Under the newfangled word "glamping" there is a special building structure that unites everything the conveniences of a modern country house (water supply, heating, ventilation and heating) with the proximity of the building to nature.
Wealthy people buy a plot of land with a beautiful view and invest in seasonal glampings - they rent them out to tourists.
Now we have many construction companies and individual teams offering to build a glamping. After analyzing the projects and proposals, I identified three more or less intelligible glamping options that are suitable for construction in the Russian climate.
1. Arched glamping.
Such a house is based on the simplest arched system known to man for a long time. The optimal height of such a house (up to the ridge) is 3 meters. The total area is about 20 "squares".
A good solution is glass doors that serve as a source of natural light. And from excessive heating, the arched canopy over the entrance group with a terrace will protect.
Approximate construction cost: 120,000 rubles.
2. Frame yurt
This is already a more complex version, in which vertical posts made of 150 mm timber and a complex rafter system are interconnected. At the same time, the area of such frame yurts makes it possible to equip a full-fledged heating system, making such a dwelling all-season.
If you build such a house in the southern latitudes of Russia, then it is quite possible to do with ordinary convectors or air conditioners for heating.
Approximate construction cost: 250,000 rubles.
3. Geo dome glamping
The good old geo-dome system, which is already familiar to many Russians. At the base are triangles made of boards 50 * 150 mm, united by star mounts. Sheathing - sheets of moisture resistant OSP-3 and flexible roofing.
Cons of such a house:
- phenol vapor produced by OSP-3;
- expensive triangular windows;
- expensive flexible shingles for the roof and walls of the house;
Approximate construction cost: 400,000 rubles.
