The most obvious taboo in the garden. For most does not exist
The first thing that Aunt Lida taught me: don't walk on the ground, there are paths!
- Why go to the beds? - I was surprised.
- They walk until they get used to it, which is impossible.
With my bewilderment, they say, how can you walk in a well-groomed garden, I left to master my garden. Aunt Lidin's lesson seemed strange to me. I was sorry to step on the loose ground, and it seemed that everyone was so.
It turned out not! Children, okay, you need to explain, watch them. But adults do not look: a garden bed, not a garden bed! Stomp, as a rule, diagonally, along the shortest path to the goal. Aunt Lida knew what she was talking about.
Like others
I came to a friend, she wanted to treat him to berries. I ask: how to get to them? It turned out... for strawberries, and for other berries in zucchini... Maybe only Aunt Lida and I fell from the Moon with our paths?
Or something like that. I read an interesting article. The author has fenced off her beds with bricks, where with boards. Why? We walked on them until the fence was gone. It’s good that we didn’t have to fence off every garden bed. But any side makes it difficult to process even with a flat cutter.
I will clarify. I am not against the sides, although brick is too much, in my opinion. Maybe I will also fence the beds with boards, just for another reason, so that the arcs are not blown away by the wind. I would like to try cabbage, try to grow a salad under a covering material.
What is the actual problem
Sorry for the earth! This is a biofactory, with billions of workers! If you really have to step, that's okay. I'm advancing. But mindlessly walking on the living is wrong! If you want, uncivilized!
What do you think about walking in the beds?
