The seller showed hidden window adjustments. I tell you where you need to "twist" the window to work normally.
Window installation does not end with foaming the cracks. In the mechanical part, there are also nuances on which normal operation depends.
Most peoplewhen they begin to notice some flaws in the operation of plastic windows usually blame either the manufacturer or the crooked hands of the workerswho put them. But nobody sees their fault!
It's like swearing at the TV manufacturer when you don't know how to use the remote control.
But self-builders do not sin with this.
In addition to the intricacies of installation, I tried to understand other nuances associated with plastic windows. And the dealer from whom I bought my windows showed me something.
When he brought them to me, and learned that I would install the windows myself, he told me the following:
1. If, during installation, you make a slight mistake with the level, in any plane, then the sashes may slightly touch the frame when closing and opening.
2. Even if the level is perfect, the machinery may not be fine-tuned at the factory.
And this is saved from simple adjustments that you need to know about.
On top of the sash.
And from below.
Everything is regulated by a conventional hexagon. These settings allow you to set the sash itself in the correct position relative to the frame.
Moreover, this may be needed after a while.
On some windows, the sash began to touch the frame on the B-pillar only after a few days. I do not know what this may be connected with, but the fact remains.
And one more setting that will definitely be needed after a while.
By turning, this hook (on each of the 4 sides) adjusts the degree of pressing the sash to the frame when closing. Over time, the elastic bands around the sash perimeter are crushed, and it is no longer so tightly pressed against the frame. Therefore, this will have to be used.
These are the subtleties I discovered for myself. Or maybe there is something else? Write in the comments if you know.
