The "bare" mine under the well on quicksand did not collapse, even after a week. New discoveries at my construction site.
when you look at some technologies on the Internet, sometimes you can't believe that this can work out in practice. And the more pleasant is the surprise when you could ...
It is possible that to someone it will seem ordinary, understandable, and natural, but for me, as a person who cognizes construction (and everything connected with it), much "ordinary" seems to be something "supernatural".
Even ordinary sand can give surprise.
What is quicksand (or maybe just water-saturated sand), I learned from the beginning of the development of my site.
- And during the construction of the entrance.
- And when digging a basement in a house.
- And during the construction of a septic tank.
There was nothing I could do with him. I got to quicksand - that's it... Further the path is closed.
But drilling a well with my own hands opened something new for me.
You can read the whole story about the process itself at my channel.
While drilling, I also had to go through this layer with quicksand.
β I have already written that the whole process lasted for several days (
although I planned to do everything in one π). And even after the first day I thought that when I came tomorrow, I would find a blocked mine, so I took out all the drill rods. But, surprisingly, the next day, the pipes went back to their full length. Those. nothing collapsed or washed away.
This went on for a week moss of torment with this drilling. And every time the next day I wondered how everything was doing.
And the answer was simple.
Ordinary clay, the layer that was in my way, when washed out of the mine, so "smeared" the walls that they became like concreted.
Of course, I knew that clay is even specially used to strengthen the mine during drilling, adding it to the solution.
β But when you see it in reality... When you dug something before, and just drowned in this quicksand, and could not do anything, but here everything is held by some kind of soft clay.
It is just as pleasant to discover new things for yourself, even when you are over 30 ...
