How many times a month is it useful to visit the bathhouse?
Bath - how much sense lies in this word! This is healing, relaxation, strengthening of immunity, respiratory and cardiovascular systems, cleansing, fat burning and renewal! The bath perfectly relieves stress and fatigue. Moreover, it is a very pleasant pastime! Surely, some people are ready to simply "live" in the bath, visiting the steam room every day. But what brings such a frequent visit to the bath - benefit or harm? Let's talk about this today.
To begin with, high air temperatures are beneficial for our body only in a metered amount. If there are too many of them in our life, our health is not strengthened at all, but, on the contrary, worsens. High temperatures negatively affect the condition of hair and skin, lower blood pressure, and lead to dilation of blood vessels. In moderation, this has a positive effect. But frequent visits to the steam room can lead to lasting consequences, for example, heart arrhythmias, heart attack or stroke.
And if now it seems to you that it is not so - you only think!
Some people should completely refuse to visit the bathhouse, so as not to harm their health. Baths are prohibited:
- pregnant and lactating women,
- people with epilepsy,
- with diseases of the reproductive system,
- with oncological diseases,
- with kidney disease,
- with infectious skin problems.
So how often can you visit the bathhouse?
Beginners are recommended to visit the bathhouse no more than 1 time a week for a short amount of time. It is worth starting with a 5-minute procedure, gradually increasing the period of being in the steam room.
If you have problems with the cardiovascular system, a visit to the steam room should be limited to 2 times a month. And this should be done only with the permission of the attending physician.
To improve health and carry out cosmetic procedures, a healthy person needs to visit the bathhouse 2 times a week, i.e. 8-9 times a month. BUT! If you have any health problems, then it is worth discussing this issue with your doctor so as not to aggravate the problem.
Big sauna lovers who have extensive experience in visiting the steam room can go to the bathhouse up to 4 times a week. But such frequent visits force to reduce each visit in time by 2 times.
Perhaps many will disagree with my recommendations. But I still advise you to observe them. After all, the bath should be beneficial, not harm.
