Stylish "carpet" in the frame. I show you how to make a cool decorative element with your own hands

Sometimes each of us has an irresistible zeal to change the decor in our apartment! So much so that one day you want to shoot everything: paintings and posters, carpets, photographs, clocks and other decorative elements and accessories. What is the reason for such a sudden impulse of the interior revolution? There are many reasons! Visual excess, seasonality, emotional state, or just a sudden thirst for change! How does it all end?

At best, a small rearrangement and re-hanging of decorative accessories! Unfortunately, it doesn't always work! Therefore, if you have such a crazy idea, then try to implement it a little differently. And why, in fact, "wander" in the vicious circle of your interior solutions? Break the "line" of your usual atmosphere and try to create something new, unusual. For example, framed wool wicker poster. And how to make it, I will tell you in this small "weaving" manual.

And you will spend time with benefit and create a minimalistic geometric decorative element!

1.What do you need? First, the canvas for the base is a grid. The ideal "base" will be a plastic canvas, if you are lucky enough to get it! Another simple pencil (marker), a ruler, thin strips for a frame or a finished form (as in our case), scissors, a needle with a large "eye", and, of course, a woolen thread (the color palette of which depends on the sketch, which one you want create).

2.Preparatory stage. Start by cutting your canvas! There can be two options. Either you start from the size of the already finished wooden frame (for example, 18 by 25 cm), or from the pattern you have conceived. The main thing is that the mesh should have a margin of one centimeter on each side to fix it under the frame.

Then draw a sketch with a pencil according to the chosen shape. By the way, improvised embroidery is also an option! But risky for the first experience! The blank can be drawn initially on the sheet and "copied" onto the canvas, or even fixed at two corners of the grid and used during the whole process.

3.Weaving pattern. The template is ready and the most mesmerizing procedure begins! Cut off 50-60 centimeters of woolen thread, thread it through the hole of the needle and pull it from the back, securing it to a knot. And start creating! Following the pattern, pass the thread from the front and back. Do not forget to tighten the threads tightly to avoid "gaps", because they are the first signs of poor weaving.

Also try not to make too long continuous rows, they will "lead" the basis, and you have to start all over again! The fact that the thread must be tied from the back, I think, is understandable. But! Be careful anyway. After all, the process is so exciting that sometimes elementary actions become erroneous.

The result will look neat and aesthetically pleasing if you organize the neighborhood of horizontal shapes with vertical ones. And, of course, a harmonious color combination is also important. Both with each other in the picture, and with the interior of the room as a whole!

4.The final step. The creative aspect in creating your personal contemporary piece is complete! There is only a technical question left - to insert it into the frame and hang it on the wall.

And yes! After the first try of the pen, you can experiment with both the shape (circle, oval, rhombus) and the size! Any configuration is permissible. And you, I think, will want to check it out personally!
