Made ourselves a cozy light kitchen of 7m2 in Provence style
The married couple have long dreamed of making repairs in their apartment, for a long time they planned the arrangement of furniture and chose the appropriate design. When, finally, finances allowed, the couple opted for the design of the kitchen in the Provence style.
The stylistic trend is characterized by a combination of provincial comfort, luxury and antiquity. Provence fills the living space with harmony and freshness.
The kitchen area is only 7 sq. m., a white kitchen set was placed along one of the walls. The carved facades of the kitchen unit make it more interesting and stylish.
The kitchen apron was finished with simple square beige tiles, the wooden countertop perfectly complements the main color scheme of the interior.
Compact models of modern household appliances perfectly complemented the kitchen design. The design of the oven enhances the beauty of the Provence style.
A dining area was placed near the opposite wall with a rounded beige table and wooden chairs. The lower part of the wall near the dining area was trimmed with wood, the upper - with fashionable rectangular "hog" tiles.
This area was supplemented with wall lamps that perfectly match the interior design.
To keep the room bright, the window was covered with a translucent short white tulle.
The walls of the room were covered with light wallpaper with a small floral pattern. Glass inserts at the top of the kitchen set are decorated with a gathered floral print.
On top, in open niches, were placed straw baskets, decorated with fabric in small squares. The floor was decorated with white and brown square tiles arranged in the form of rhombuses.
It was possible to emphasize elegance and romance thanks to the placement of various decorative elements.
The spouses were pleased with the result, they did not regret choosing this particular style. The cozy and bright kitchen has become an ideal place for evening gatherings with the family or for receiving a small number of guests.
Even in a small area, it was possible to convey the mood of the Provence style, preserve the functionality of the kitchen and make a stylish interior design.
