My choice of electric drill for construction

For the manufacture of a machine for cutting aerated concrete (short video here, and the article will be a little later) - I needed a drill. Power not less than 800 watts. With adjustable speed, so that you can also mix the solution in a bucket.

I will say right away that I did not study the reviews and did not choose anything on purpose. I just came to a friend in his tool shop, knowing that they would not sell me a drill that works for one month (there are no such ones there) and there will be an exclusive discount for me. Because in addition to the drill, he also acquired a set of other power tools. But about them in the following articles.

In the middle price segment, the choice was made towards the Resant DU-15 / 950M 75/8/4, 950 W percussion drill. The brand is well known for its welding machines.

Five years warranty upon registration on the manufacturer's website and registration of the warranty there within 1 month after purchase. What other manufacturer can give such a guarantee? Moreover, in such a price segment! Discounted price for me: 2601 rubles. (in the store 2890 rubles).

Another obvious advantage of the drill is the metal gear case. In such a price category, I have not seen electric drills of metal gearbox cases. Standard chuck (for drills with a diameter of 1.5 - 13 mm), complete with a key to the chuck. The metal of the cams is of high quality. The cord is long. Drill weight: 2.1 kg. Side handle and drilling depth stop included.

The kit also includes spare brushes. Of the minuses: soiled color (gray) and plastic texture. Gets dirty quickly. But this is me finding fault. I did not experience hammer drilling. But the effect of the punch is hardly to be expected. It's still a drill.

Speed ​​controller up to 3000 rpm. I mixed the solution in a bucket a couple of times. Yes, the turnovers are still high, because not a slow-speed mixer designed specifically for this. The power is felt. And the side handle will come in handy for that. If you do not use it often and do not mix too thick a solution and not in a large container, then you will cope with this task. I'm happy with the purchase.
