How can you save money. New white front door, no replacement for the old one!

Our front door was from a developer and it was brown.
Which did not fit into our interior at all.

It's too expensive to change the door, so we ordered a white panel. Such a panel can be ordered at any store that sells interior doors.

The measurer came, took measurements and they made a white panel for us. The cost of the panel is 2000 rubles. We also ordered door fittings for the front door there.

To measure yourself, you need to remove the panel and order the same size.

You can remove the panel yourself. But you need to know what kind of panel mount at your door.

It happens:

✔️ is supported by iron sides (very often)
✔️ on self-tapping screws
✔️ reinforcement from the inside (the most difficult one)

We did not do the dismantling and installation ourselves. Since they ordered, in addition to panels, interior doors and their installation.

We painted the side iron slopes that hold the panel itself white, in two layers. Painted with the same paint as the walls.
