Bulgarian cucumbers cooked in the microwave in just 3 minutes.
The hot season has come for canning fruits and vegetables. I doubt that there is at least one housewife who does not harvest such a popular vegetable as cucumber for the winter. I am no exception!
Every year I carry out some kind of experiments, trying new recipes. And last year I came across a very interesting and unusual recipe.
Of course, I rolled up a test jar and, having tasted the result in winter, regretted it. No, not about spoiling the food, but about the fact that I have only one jar of such delicious crispy cucumbers! This year I had a real blast!
So, what is this miracle method?
By the way, the recipe is so simple and easy that I can't even believe it myself.
It does not waste precious time, which the hostess lacks so much, especially in the summer.
It used to be offensive and annoying when jars of pickled cucumbers became cloudy and swollen. That is, having made a lot of effort and spending days in the hot kitchen, you could have lost almost all the workpieces. With a new recipe, this is simply not possible!
To cook cucumbers using the microwave, we need to use a liter jar.
Banks do not need to be sterilized, which is also an undoubted advantage. It is enough to wash and dry them thoroughly.
At the bottom of the cans we put the spices familiar to you. I usually put cherry, currant, horseradish and oak leaves. I also take an umbrella of dill, peas of black and allspice, a clove of garlic. If you like it more spicy, you can add chilli red pepper.
But don't overdo it. Some housewives add mustard seeds and cloves.
It is better to take small cucumbers. I wash them thoroughly and soak them in cool water for two hours, no more. Then, having cut off the "butts", I put them tightly in jars.
To prepare the brine, you will need the following ingredients:
For a liter of water - 1 small glass of sugar, this is 100 grams, 2-2.5 tablespoons of salt, 50 ml of vinegar (9%).
The brine is very tasty. You can simply drink it later.
Add vinegar to the boiling brine at the very end and then remove from heat.
The prepared brine is enough for three jars.
Fill the cucumbers with boiling brine, without covering them in any case with lids, put one jar in the microwave for three minutes.
Then we take it out and roll it up.
Give it a try and you won't want any more other ways to pickle cucumbers!
