The price of garbage collection has changed: residents of the private sector of the Moscow region received new bills

In August, residents of the Moscow region received new bills. The owners of individual residential houses were embarrassed by the fact that another amount appeared in the line “Handling MSW”. Alla Polyakova, Chairman of the Moscow Regional Duma Committee on Ecology and Environmental Management, explained that now the payment for the export bulky waste (items with dimensions from 0.5 meters in length, width and height) is included in the price of the service MSW ".

This has been known since last year, when in December officials approved the standards for owners of IZhS facilities - that is, taking into account KGO (bulky waste: old furniture, household techniques, etc.). This is an order of the Ministry of Housing and Utilities of the region. The new system has been in operation since January 2020. In receipts of owners of private houses and cottages in the Moscow region, this amount, from the beginning of the year to July 31, was reflected. Although the new settlement algorithm began in August, which can be seen in the payment document. In column 8 MosOblEIRTS presented the results of the recalculation - for the service from January. Prior to the adoption of the amendments, the fee for the removal of CGO was not included in the cost of the service (“MSW handling”).

How much do you need to pay for garbage collection now?

The authorities assure that measures have been taken to prevent an increase in the price of the service. Coefficients are applied to reduce the cost. And if a person sorts garbage, then a reduction factor is applied - 0.8. That is, a 20% discount is provided for residents of individual buildings when calculating the cost of waste removal services.

Alla Polyakova, Chairman of the Moscow Regional Duma Committee on Ecology and Environmental Management:

“For example, if last year the owner of a house with up to 100 m2 paid 200 rubles a month, in 2020 he must pay 230 rubles a month excluding a 20% discount. If he sorts the waste, he will pay 184 rubles. For houses 101–150 m2 - 368 and 460 rubles, respectively ”.

But the tariff reduction is offered only to those owners of individual houses who have special containers - tanks intended for separate accumulation of waste, as well as a site with a sanitary cleaning scheme territory. Therefore, officials recommend that residents of IZHS conclude an agreement, contact the local authorities - so that they organize a container site. Then the regional operator, according to the deputies, will install the containers.

On Sakhalin, 3 containers were installed on 8 garden associations. According to the gardeners, the regional operator promised to take out the garbage 2 times a week, but in reality - once every 2 months. The accumulated rubbish began to attract bears, the operator "fed breakfast", and the locals were are forced to stop passing carriers and ask them to pick up their waste for an additional fee. As a result, 3 more containers were added to summer residents by the end of the season, and garbage was taken out once a week.
