How to make flower men

Perhaps the name of this plant will seem incomprehensible to someone, because people call this beautiful flower a simple name - male happiness.

Once such a man's happiness settled in my home. I was given this flower. I, of course, knew that he must sometime bloom. But quite a long time has passed, and the plant was in no hurry to please me.

I was very upset. I began to think and wonder what was the reason for my anthurium's unwillingness to bloom. I even decided to ask my friend for advice.

By the way, she had the same plant as mine, but only it bloomed beautifully, unlike my male happiness. The acquaintance, of course, is not a fan of sharing secrets. But I still managed to find them out from her.

In fact, as it turned out, there can be many reasons why the plant does not bloom. And all these reasons lie in improper care. This applies to lighting, humidity, and temperature control.

Ideal conditions for anthurium flowering

· The light should be bright, but diffused, as it happens when passing through the foliage of a tree. Daylight hours should last at least 14 hours.

The ideal place for this flower would be the east side of the house. A lack of light is destructive for a plant, just like an excess of it.

· In winter, the temperature around the flower should be low, about 17 degrees. At the end of February, it should be gradually increased. When the temperature reaches 20 degrees, buds will begin to appear.

During the growing season, the plant needs an average temperature of 25 degrees.

· The plant needs high humidity. Therefore, it will be very convenient if you have a humidifier. But if it is not there, then you need to spray the leaves daily. And every week they still need to be wiped with a damp cloth. You need to spray with warm water.

But sometimes even observing all these conditions, the owner of the flower fails to achieve its abundant flowering. My secret is that I add lemon juice to the water for irrigation.

2 drops of juice are enough for one liter. This solution stimulates anthurium flowering well. Of course, more often this should be done during the growing season. During this time, I do the procedure every week.

In winter, I do it less often, once every 2 - 3 weeks. I am very pleased with the result, the plant blooms beautifully. I hope that you will find my experience useful.
