Beauty does not require sacrifice, but the right investments - what you should not save on when choosing a lamp for a manicure
Girls and women always want to look well-groomed, but in today's dynamic world, sometimes there is so little time left to visit a nail salon. I have found a solution for myself in nail care at home.
It was not difficult to acquire tools, varnishes and brushes. But the choice of a lamp for manicure puzzled me - on the forums, someone recommended taking a more powerful one, others bet exclusively on the type of lamp, and still others wrote that they were all harmful. I had to turn to specialists.
Types of lamps for manicure
As a rule, there are 4 types of lamps in specialized stores:
Ultraviolet (UV) lamp is inexpensive and has its drawbacks - every few months it is necessary to change lamps (power decreases, drying time increases), not suitable for everyone coatings.
A cold cathode gas lamp (CCFL) is suitable for all gel coatings, but the location of the lamp (one spiral) does not always dry all nails at the same time.
· LED (LED). Safely and quickly copes with the task, but the cost is high. Long-term operation will require replacement of LEDs.
· A hybrid lamp is a combination of an ultraviolet lamp and an LED or a gas and LED lamp. Their prices are lower than LED devices and dry at a good level.
For home use, a power of up to 40 W is sufficient, for professional use 48-72W is recommended. As for the harmful effects - this applies only to the first type of lamps and only with frequent use.
SUN Q5 lamp advantages
The hybrid SUN Q5 lamp has enough power (36W) to dry gel polishes in 30 seconds, has a small size (it is convenient to take with you when I go to a friend). There are time modes for 10.30 and 60 seconds. For a year and a half of using "cons" was not found.
