This garden chainsaw, so "unkillable" that it "survived" the garden itself

Many girls will understand me, choose a gift for a man, especially some kind of technique, and even to please this is something from the realm of fantasy. Now, wise by experience, I almost never commit such rash acts, but I will tell you almost the only case when I did manage to please someone.

I was looking for a birthday present for my father back in 2010 and remembered that my parents had a lot of fruit trees at their dacha, and there was only a hand saw (hacksaw). With proper care (high-quality oil and fuel, no overheating, adequate chain tension), the saw has worked properly for 10 years and will continue to serve. Starts flawlessly, over the years only the spring on the handle and the tire have been changed. The unit is sufficient for standard household needs.

Chainsaw is recommended to "give a break" after each exhausted tank, but experience, especially in a hot period, it is better to do it more often so as not to overheat.

It is also important every time before starting work to adjust the chain tension and secure the bar well.

The parents sold the dacha, and the saw went through a lot: 4 years of daily work on pruning trees; the construction of a bath; annual procurement of firewood and many other small matters.

The only drawback is that sometimes there is not enough chain length to cut a particularly "well-fed" tree and a good appetite for gasoline.

The manufacturer does not reinvent the wheel, the Partner 351 saw can still be found on sale, which indicates a stable demand for the product. True, production is no longer in the USA, but in China.
