Reciprocating saw attachment: brush for cleaning metal or brushing wood

Everyone knows what a reciprocating saw is. Thanks to the reciprocating movements of high frequency, it is possible to saw something wooden with a blade. Basically, it is a wood tool. Long jigsaw with different files. There are blades that can cut metal. And some manage to cut aerated concrete with this saw.

The saw does not create sparks when cutting metal like an angle grinder and it is convenient to use it in those places where it is impossible to crawl with a disk tool or jigsaw. There are various reciprocating saw blades. The run-up in prices for them - from 500 to 6000 rubles:

But in stores and online stores, I have never seen anything else for a reciprocating saw. For example, attachments for grinding, surface cleaning, for cutting like a "renovator" tool, etc. I found such nozzles only from a manufacturer in the USA:

Somehow expensive for a metal brush. I think that Chinese manufacturers haven’t connected yet.

A set of TM Spyder 900404, which, in addition to the cleaning brush, includes a grinding attachment and three saw blades. The brush on the instrument looks like this:

Brushes are designed for cleaning metal surfaces from old paint, rust and various kinds of dirt. Carbide-tipped saw blades can be used to clean seams and make cuts.

As you can see, with this brush attachment you can not only clean, but also brush dry wood. The texture appears. But such a brush cannot yet be purchased from us. Maybe Chinese manufacturers will start releasing their replicas when they see that the attachment is in demand. Neither aliexpress nor joom found anything similar.

In the meantime, you can do it yourself. We buy a brush with metal bristles for cleaning metal:

Saw off the handle from it. We fasten metal corners to it from above, and weld the cheapest or broken saber saw blade to the corners. You can drill holes in the canvas and screw on the brush. This makes an inexpensive brush head. Yes, the brush will be consumable, but the cost of the brush is from 100 rubles. And it can be removed from the canvas (if screwed). Whereas to assemble a nozzle from disc brushes for brushing with angle grinders will cost from 1000 rubles.

Also, for sanding wood after brushing, you can use a nylon laundry brush according to the same principle. The cost of such a brush is from 50 rubles.
