I did not expect to see a typical Chinese man in the apartment instead of a toilet
China is a country with a history of 5 thousand years (as they like to say), a country with a rich culture and a country whose economic and technological growth is truly amazing. However, there is one BUT, renting an apartment in this very country can be a real challenge.
At first, it is worth remembering one very important fact - the Chinese, especially southerners, hardly spend time at home: from six in the morning they already pour out into the streets - they dance, do exercises, begin to prepare for work, etc. That is, an apartment for them is just a place where you can throw off all your things and calmly go to rest on the street. It happens that even the most expensive apartments are so cluttered that it is difficult to see a person there. While some rooms remain half empty.
Second fact is a direct consequence of the first. Where is it littered, what is there? Cockroaches! Russian cockroaches are just crumbs, compared to Chinese cockroaches, they often come hand in hand with centipedes. The Chinese are not afraid of them and do not seem to worry too much. Due to the high humidity in the air, mold is another private guest. It can even appear on clothes in the closet.
However, the toilets are still the cherry on top. Apartments in China are divided according to the following principle: apartments with a European toilet (mostly for wealthier Chinese who have been abroad and foreigners) and apartments with a hole in the floor. Most high-rise buildings have holes in the floor instead of toilets.
Our Chinese comrades believe that going to the toilet in this way is much healthier for the body (a whole nation of friends of Elena Malysheva). Since the shower and toilet are combined, the shower hose is often installed just above the hole in the floor. How convenient! After all, the water from the shower does not spill, but immediately leaves.
However, you can still find a good apartment, albeit with great, great difficulty, but how do you think, maybe we are living the wrong way?
