Garlic dressing recipe shared by my Grandma. Collecting large heads for 3 years in a row
I have been growing garlic for a very long time. Firstly, I add it to many dishes and it is a very healthy vegetable. And secondly, by planting garlic, I protect my site from parasites and pests. But I did not always manage to get large heads of garlic.
Seeing this, my grandmother told about one top dressing that she used. And, indeed, as soon as I started using this dressing, I began to collect large heads of garlic.
And this has been repeated for the third year already, so we can safely say that it was feeding that had a positive effect on the growth of the heads.
Garlic folk dressing recipe
· Take onion peel prepared in advance.
· Pour a little boiling water over the husk.
· Let the product steep for two days.
· Dilute the infusion with water in a ratio of 1 to 3.
· Drizzle with the resulting solution of planting young garlic.
· After a month or two, feed the garlic with wood ash. Dissolve two glasses of ash in 10 liters of water and pour this solution along the grooves in the aisles of the garlic.
The procedure can be repeated after a month. Do not forget to loosen the soil in the aisles in time. This will help the oxygen to reach the roots of the garlic. And this is very important for the formation of large heads.
These dressings will not only help grow large garlic, it will also have excellent taste, and will be stored for a long time, all winter and spring.
Important! Many gardeners make a mistake. They start adding organic matter immediately after the snow has melted. Such dressings contribute to the fact that the aerial part of the plant will grow vigorously, but the heads will be small.
Ash can block the ability of plants to absorb nitrogen. Therefore, ash should be used as a top dressing already in late spring or early summer.
Of course, garlic is considered an unpretentious culture, and you can find it in almost every area. The green part grows especially well. But what the heads will grow depends entirely on the correct care and timely feeding.
I think that it is better to choose folk remedies as top dressing. In the days of my grandmother, there was no variety of chemicals, and the harvest did not suffer from this. So why should we poison ourselves with chemistry, when you can use folk recipes that give such a good result.
