Living in a wooden house, comfortably and cheaply, why should we be afraid of the dark elements in the decor

Living room - this is the place where people spend most of their time. And when the living room with open kitchen, we practically live in it. Wife cooks, husband plays with the child, yes, it is an ideal picture, but... The room in which it is constantly happening may be small, but certainly comfortable. I want to tell you how we are trying to finish the second year in her renovated.

The walls, ceiling and floor - a start

Since repair of wooden houses the living room there is a lot of ideas. Of course, the tree also creates a certain atmosphere, sets the rhythm of the design, but there is always expectation and reality are on opposite sides.

The idea we had the following:

• Kitchen and lounge combined

• In the center bar with high chairs.
• Opposite the kitchen air conditioning and a TV that hangs on the wall and practically does not take place.
• A beam on the ceiling, as an element that divides the room in two parts.

• Stairs and below play

The walls are in the majority, are in color, almost natural. For wood preservative used, the color is called oak.

and for the wall in the kitchen the same company, only the color of teak. Why he?

Firstly, an antiseptic has a protective effect against living microorganisms and their wooden house is not small:

• bugs

Secondly, it has a liquid consistency and the flow rate is less than the paint.

 But there are difficulties in the application, if you do not paint over the entire surface immediately or not to remove the residues that remain divorces.

We are now at the stage of painting walls, ceilings, stairs, and already understand that we need to refine the interior.

Stairs in the past

• Unexpectedly for us, it turned out that the ladder is the apogee of the design project. After painting the place visually reduced in the room, it is necessary to consider when choosing a dark color. Now it stands out and is combined with the kitchen wall area, and looks cozy.

The second floor is in the dead center, in the next six months will not change anything there, so the ladder will remain until the interior decorations, after the introduction of commissioned top location, it will be varnished, as an antiseptic soaks into the wood, and thus will be overwritten, but so far there is no needed.
