In the context of the protracted crisis the question how to save when building a house, does not lose its relevance. In addition to the design and planning - methods to calculate the estimate before beginning construction and figure out how to cut costs, one way to reduce costs is to use the secondary materials.

Construction waste and a variety of b / at things in the right hands to give a second life. Absorb broken brick entrance to the site, so do not fall heavy-use tires from cars as a base for frame house or an element of the drainage system. Old windows in wooden frames go to the greenhouses, etc. All of these options are well known and widely used zealous owners.

In this regard, the experience of the Dutch Inters, who decided to build a stylish cottage from the parts of the house that went under demolition.

If you look at the photo below, it is difficult to believe that much to do in this house, in fact, construction waste.

However, the approach proposed by Rolf Bruggnikom - designer from the Netherlands, paid off at 100.

Rolf Bruggnik:
I like the idea to give a second life to things that in ordinary life simply discarded. The main thing - to be able to look at them from a different angle and ask yourself the question - what would be done?

To test yourself and your friends, the designer decided to rework an old 19th century building that was used once as a place to store carriages.

Beside him, on the site, specially bought for construction, located a dilapidated hut, built back in 1950 and have been used at one time for offices.

Rolf Bruggnik:
Of course, before you build something, you have to buy something. It requires initial capital, but the trick is that you buy a property, going under demolition. The price for it is often very attractive, because not all come to mind, that if to show imagination, the old garage, abandoned shops or shop can be turned into a full-fledged housing, the cost of which will increase significantly after completion of the work.

The team set to work. The goal - to turn the old brick building size 7h16 meters in stylish cottage. Having assessed the dimensions of the room and having estimated that ceilings over 5 meters high - a real gift, Rolf has developed the project. And all the interior details, as well as the structural elements are selected in such a way as to maximize the use of the barracks, which was started to be demolished. The case went almost everything - wooden joists, beams, roof sheathing, window, wall radiators, fasteners, etc.

The sponsors have tried to emphasize the beauty of the old brickwork, combining it with modern materials.

To increase the space in the end of the building cut through the doorway at the entrance, and the walls - a panoramic window.

The whole area of the house is divided into three functional areas. This is - a living, organized on the principle of open space.

The second zone - an office, a kitchen, a bathroom and a toilet.

Moreover, thanks to the height of the ceilings, the second zone placed on the second floor, made in the form of the island, which leads a wooden staircase.

The third area is decorated as a holiday destination, filled with things, stylized retrodizayn.

Rolf Bruggnik:
The whole basis of the second floor - a frame structure, made of beams remaining after parsing barracks. As the skin we used the crate. To the surprise of the board were in good condition, and after the selection and grading by size we have them polished and varnished. Part of the wood burned.

Such an approach - deliberate underline texture of old wood, it gives a remake, in the style of high-tech, stylish look under the "antiquity".

Also interesting is a time - to finish the second floor used radiators taken from dismantled houses and walls are made out of windows.

In addition, the designer used for home decoration furniture made with their own hands.

For example, a cabinet in the photo below is made from pieces of demolition theater, and as the glass doors used old dormers.

Rolf Bruggnik:
This is a real transformation of objects. As a result of the old things turn out amazing interior, combining a personality, style and charm of a bygone era.
