The idea of ​​the interior in a rustic style

It's time to make repairs in the apartment, and I decided that if the housing is used only for recreation, the interior must meet two criteria:
• remind the interior of a country (village) house.
• use of natural materials in the finishing.
I'm attracted to the idea of ​​its designer. For two weeks he produced an album in A3 format with the comprehensive plan repairs.

The album contained sketches of interiors, information about remodeling, furniture arrangement, power grids and lighting schemes. All sketches were performed with the use of textures, patterns and types of materials that are sold in the shops of my city.

Finishing materials offer simple - wood, ceramics, water-based paints and varnishes. At least plastic, chemicals, vinyl. Furniture planned wood, IKEA production. To album attached materials flow table. The tables facilitate the calculation of the amount and cost of materials, furniture costs.

Repairs

Work was carried out in the usual way. Master to remove the old finish, pulled down all superfluous and unnecessary. Mounted network engineering. With the laying of parquet had to tinker, flooring was of average quality.

Many problems arose in the manufacture and installation of wooden elements. Dry wood is very hard to find. All the wood trim in the photo: an imitation of the log walls, the ceiling, the logs "protruding from the walls', ceiling beams in the hallway - fitted with the second or third time. Wooden elements after mounting dries, cracked and warped. On a number of elements from wood in general had to be abandoned.

Experience and conclusions after repair
