Somewhere in my garden where linseed oil lives
I did not grow flax, can not do flaxseed oil. And yet it lives in our garden. It will be interesting to check out your opinion.
First there was the foundation of the greenhouse. Its carefully treated with linseed oil. We had the usual, in bottles from the store magnet, there are aerosol.
Before the first season was as follows:
- Work with linseed oil was very nice
- Nothing better on sustainability does not happen
- consumption acceptable
- And the price is less than a modern paint
Who knows, natural linseed oil is boiled linseed oil. Linseed oil dries better, but does not penetrate deeply into the wood.
We thought that this treatment is sufficient. So does this mean, judge for yourself. Below is another photo from the cellar to be. There is not all good.
Now the foundation of the greenhouse looks like this:
It took 2 seasons. Here's another for the sake of completeness, there is no mold and cracks:
Especially linseed oil
Linseed oil
- Antiseptic - protects against rot and mildew
- Strongly absorbed in the wood
- Long dries. It is necessary to apply a large time intervals in multiple layers, e.g., after 3 days of each layer
- Wood after this treatment does not dry and breathes, its pores available
- The wood does not crack and does not peel off
This theory, and an article on how to practice.
All wood in the cellar was treated carefully with linseed oil
Lily rubbed, poured and rubbed because it dries quickly board.
After 2 seasons still found traces of fungus, although the cellar with ventilation. It is not critical, just have... No cracks, oil, apparently, well helped by them.
This cap cellar outside, all is well:
And it's inside, not ah:
This ladder can be clearly seen fungus:
And how you treat the wood? Whether the results are pretty?
I would be grateful for a subscription and chat :)
